A batch of granite tiles and decorative elements for the new monument to Magtymguly Fragi and the improvement of the adjacent territory, as well as the cladding of one of the squares in Ashgabat, was delivered to Turkmenistan.

Deliveries of building materials from Russian manufacturers were carried out by the St. Petersburg branch of JSC «RZD Logistics». From the Kupchin station of the October Railway to the «Gypjak» station of the «Turkmen» Railway, deliveries were carried out in several stages over the course of six months. A total of 68 wagons with construction materials were sent.

In addition to the direct transportation of cargo, «RZD Logistics» services included the provision of rolling stock, development and approval of loading sketches, securing cargo in cars, as well as loading and unloading operations at the Kupchinskaya railway station.

This is the second major project for the delivery of tiles from this manufacturer to Turkmenistan, which was successfully implemented by the branch of «RZD Logistics» JSC in St. Petersburg. In 2021, 105 cars were delivered in the shortest possible time of five months. The carrier appreciates the opportunity given to the branch to take part in such projects, planning to continue to actively develop cooperation with the largest enterprises in the North-West of Russia and help manufacturers increase export supplies.
