The Balkanabat Nebitchi players won three victories in four control matches over Azerbaijani clubs at a training camp in Baku.

In the first match, Hojaahmed Arazov’s team lost with the score 1:2 to the Fuzuli team, playing in the 2nd League of Azerbaijan. The only goal for Nebitchi was scored by Dayanch Nuryev. In the next two, football players from Balkanabat won with the similar result 2:0 against Baku and the Azerbaijani first division team Shamakhi. In the first game, Serdar Tukiev and Seyitmamed Hojamamedov scored, and in the second – Ashirgeldy Saryev and Seyitmamed Hojamamedov.

In the final match, Nebitchi defeated Sumgayit with a score of 4:2, which, after the 25th round, occupied 4th place in the Azerbaijani Premier League. Ashir Jumaduryev scored a double in the Turkmen team. Byashim Gurbanberdiyev and Seyitmamed Hojamamedov also scored a goal each. 

Last season, Nebitchi won bronze medals for the 7th time at the national championship. The team from the administrative center of Balkan velayat was led to this success by head coach Hojaakhmed Arazov, who was assisted in his work by Yagmurmurad Annamuradov and goalkeeper coach Rejepberdy Bagaberdyev.

Before the start of the new championship of Turkmenistan, the Nebitchi squad was strengthened by four players. The team included: Ashir Jumadurdyev and Dayanch Nuryev from Mary Energetik, as well as Byashim Gurbanberdyev from Ashgabat and Kerim Hojaberdyev from Shagadam.

Nebitchi will play the first match of the national championship on March 4 in Balkanabat against Merv.
