Caring for women, increasing their status in society, ensuring true gender equality in accordance with the Constitution of Turkmenistan and generally accepted norms of international law is one of the important directions of state policy.
Today, the women of our country, continuing to remain homemakers, caring mothers and skilled housewives, are actively involved in the socio-political and economic life of the state. They occupy leadership positions, work in science, in many departments of internal affairs bodies, work in education, medicine and other spheres of life.
During the celebrations held on the occasion of International Women's Day, women express words of gratitude to the Government of Turkmenistan for special attention and providing ample opportunities for active self-realization for the benefit of the Motherland.
