A youth delegation from Turkmenistan is in India to participate in an extensive cultural program involving about 100 young people from Central Asian countries. The initiative to organize such events was approved in 2022 at the Summit of the Heads of State of Central Asia and India. Its main goal is to support and strengthen dialogue between the youth of Asian regions. Participants in the cultural program, which will last until the 12th of March, get acquainted with the culture, history and national characteristics of India.

Of particular interest to the participants of the cultural program was a trip to one of the most famous monuments of India - the mausoleum-mosque of the Taj Mahal, which is called the «Crown of Palaces». The monument, located in the city of Agra, was built by order of the padishah of the Mughal Empire, Shah Jahan I, in memory of his beloved wife. The Taj Mahal is considered the best example of Mughal architecture, which combines elements of Indian, Persian and Arabic architectural styles. As one of the universally recognized architectural masterpieces, it is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.

No less interesting was the excursion to the National University of Forensic Sciences, located in Ahmedabad, the largest city in the large state of Gujarat. It is the first university in India dedicated exclusively to forensic medicine and investigative sciences. There, a meeting was held with the head of the university, at which young people from Central Asia were introduced to the activities of the university and its faculties, and students of the university performed musical numbers for the guests.
