The international poetry recitation competition "Universe of Words", timed to the 300th anniversary of the great poet and philosopher Magtymgyly Fragi, is being held under the auspices of the organizing committee of the 8th Moscow International Festival of Arts "Sounds of Dutar" named after Nury Halmamedov.
In this competitive event, students of educational organizations, institutions of additional education, creative and artistic groups, unions and associations, academies of arts, theater, children's and youth associations, cultural organizations, libraries, and others can participate in reciting aloud the poems of the Turkmen poet and works of Russian literature dedicated to Central Asia and the Middle East.
The international competition is held in the format of in-person and remote performances in participating countries and in the regions of the Russian Federation remote from Moscow.
Competition applications and attached documents must be sent electronically to the email: festival.sounds-of-dutar@mail.ru.
The deadline for submitting applications is October 1, 2024.

The goal of the competition is to popularize the literary works of Magtymguly Fragi, expand the reading horizons of children and youth through acquaintance with Magtymguly's heritage and works of Russian poets dedicated to the culture of Central Asia and the Middle East.
The jury includes figures of culture and art of the Russian Federation and Turkmenistan, theater and cinema artists, professors and teachers of theater universities.
