The Ashgabat Photo Club "Ferula" has announced the first international photo contest "PHOTO OFFSET 2024". The organizer of the event is the photo club "PHOTO LIFE" (Georgia).

This major international photography event is held under the auspices of the International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP), functioning under UNESCO, the Photographic Society of America (PSA), and the Global Photographic Union (GPU). Those who wish to participate should register on the following website.   

Photos for the contest are accepted in three categories: "Free Color Photography", "Free Black and White Photography", and "Travel Photo" (color or black and white photo). Participants can submit up to four photos in each category. Each photo can only be submitted in one category.

It is expected that photographers from 40 countries around the world will participate in the first Turkmen international photo contest. As of today, photographers from 17 countries have already submitted their works. International awards will be presented among the participants: gold, silver and bronze medals from FIAP, PSA and the photo club PHOTO LIFE (Georgia), the photo club ORASIS (Cyprus), and the Ashgabat photo club "Ferula". A total of 94 medals will be awarded. The deadline for submitting contest entries is April 14.

For years, members of the Ashgabat photo club "Ferula" have participated in photo salons held in Turkey, India, Russia, UAE, Georgia, Austria and China.

The works will be evaluated by professional photographers. The judging panel of the 1st Turkmenistan International Salon Offset 2024 includes: Vyacheslav Sarkisyan (EFIAP - Turkmenistan), Johann Debono (EFIAP - Malta), Paolo Stuppazzoni (EFIAP - Italy). The results will be announced on May 12.
