Important objectives for implementation of the strategy of social and economic development of the country, in particular, large-scale reform programmes undertaken in the regions and aimed at making the conditions for prosperous life and creative work of Turkmenistan citizens, were reviewed during the session.
Organizational matters of seasonal agricultural works and preparation to the celebration events, first of all, to the coming Turkmen Horse Holiday in the end of April were separate subject of the discussion.
Opening the session, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov called Hyakim of Ashgabat Sh. Durdyliyev who reported on the situation in the capital. In particular, the report on the comprehensive measures for beautification of the main city of the country and improvement of social and living conditions of the population was given. The Head of city administration also informed on the preparation to the coming Turkmen Horse Celebration and cultural and public events planned on this occasion.
Having stressed the attention on the importance of timely fulfilment of social and economic programmes for development of the capital, the President of Turkmenistan pointed that all construction works carried out in the capital have to be accomplished within the deadline and meet high quality level. The Leader of the Nation also requested to provide organized conduct of all events timed to the Turkmen Horse Celebration.
The session was continued by the reports of the heads of the regions who reported on the situation in velayats, measures for increase of working rates at the fields, preparation to harvest season, course of construction of different facilities as well as to preparation to the events on occasion of the Turkmen Horse Day.
Summing up the reports, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov focused the attention of Hyakim of Ahal Velayat T. Atahalliyev on provision of coordinated work of structures involved in grain harvest season as well as on construction of social infrastructure facilities.
Hyakim of Balkan velayat S. Satlykov was assigned with specific orders for organized spring field works. The subjects of improvement of land fertility, implementation of advanced methods into agricultural branch, particularly in rational water consumption have to remain in the focus, - the Head of the State highlighted. The Head of the State drew the attention of Hyakim of Dashoguz Velayat O. Gurbannazarov on the necessity to take all efforts for successful solution of the programme for social and economic development of the northern region of the country.
Mentioning the necessity to hold under permanent control the development of Lebap Velayat, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov addressed Hyakim CH. CHarliyev with number of assignments for preparation of harvesting equipment, grain elevators and storages as well as pointed at the necessity of increased control of construction and opening of new facilities in the velayat.
Having focused on the situation at agricultural fields of Mary Velayat, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov instructed Hyakim B. Annagurbanov to increase the rates of cotton sowing and on preparation to crop harvest.

Having dwelt on organizational issues of horse raid that started 500 days prior the opening ceremony of V Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games, the Turkmen Leader expressed his discontent hot it goes in Mary Velayat. As it is planned, the participants of the horse raid across all the velayats of the country would fire up the torch of 2017 Asian Games at Galkynysh gas field.
There were some censures addressed to the Vice-premier and the Minister of Culture for bad coordination of work for preparation of the celebration of the Turkmen Horse Day. The Head of the State noted that celebration events have to reflect the tender attitude of turkmen people to centuries-old equestrian traditions of our ancestors who presented the world with glorious, matchless by beauty, grace and speed ahalteke horses, which are national pride after the millenniums.

Having highlighted the importance paid by the Government to protection of beauty and reserves of our nature, rational use of land resources, creation of green zones and proper care of the trees, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov expressed serious discontent to the work in this direction. The Head of the State pointed the necessity to increase green zones around Ashgabat and other settlements for protection from dust winds as well as to plant mulberry trees along the Karakum River and other irrigation watercourses for strengthening of the banks.

At the same time, the concerns were addressed to the Tax Service, which does not properly control individual entrepreneurship and physical entities activities. In this regards, the President of Turkmenistan demanded the Minister to eliminate the shortcomings with related services as soon as possible.
