Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan aim to expand cooperation in customs training

As part of the implementation of the signed Memorandum of Understanding, representatives of the Training Center under the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan met with the teaching staff of the Customs Institute of the Customs Committee of Uzbekistan.

The document in the field of personnel training was signed in 2022.

The Uzbek side was represented by the director of the Customs Institute, teachers of the faculty of the retraining and advanced training, representatives of the department of scientific research and training of scientific and pedagogical personnel, as well as the International Relations Service of the institute.

The Institute's teachers talked about the organization of the educational process for the retraining and advanced training of customs officers of Uzbekistan, about scientific and educational activities, and shared their experience in aligning the Institute's curricula with PICARD professional standards.

The participants of the online meeting discussed possibilities of cooperation for the development of scientific activities and the organization of online seminars on topics of interest for customs officers of Turkmenistan within the aforementioned Memorandum.
