Piano Music Festival in the Small Hall of the Turkmen National Conservatoire

Piano players of the Specialized Musical Boarding School of the Turkmen National Conservatoire, Danatar Ovezov Turkmen State Musical College of the Turkmen National Conservatoire, as well as students and teachers of the Special Piano Department took part in the Piano Music Festival.

The festival that has rich traditions is held in the Turkmen National Conservatoire each year. With the course of time, many of the festival participants became teachers and attended the festival to support their students.

The festival started with the performance of the second-grader of the boarding school Oguljemal Hudayberdiyeva. She played the piece by Gulshat Odeniyazova “Yartygulak’s Dance”.

The well-known works by Turkmen composers - Nury Halmamedov and Chary Nurymov as well as Russian and Wets European classics - Sergei Prokofiev, Sergei Rachmaninoff, Frederic Chopin, Franz Schubert were performed on the first day of the festival.

Student of the Specialized Musical Boarding School Zamira Juraeva, who performed a fragment from Prokofiev's ballet “Romeo and Juliet”, as well as students of the conservatoire - Amannazar Arslanov and Ogulkeik Hojakurbanova, who performed Chopin's “Etude” and “Impromptu” by Schubert left the most pleasant impressions.

According to the People's Artist of Turkmenistan Orazgul Annamuradova, the festival performances will be held every Monday within this month. In the final stage of the festival, the pianists with pedagogical experience will take the place at the piano.
