The results of the competition for the best eco-slogan, launched by the Public Organization "Ýaş Tebigatçy" (Young Naturalist), were announced in Ashgabat.
Nature lovers from all over the country submitted their versions of slogans calling for the preservation of natural resources. All participants of the competition were honored with letters of appreciation and symbolic gifts.
"We received more than 30 applications from adults and children who wanted to express their active position in preserving the environment," says Leyli Shykhmadova, the chairperson of the Public Organization "Ýaş Tebigatçy". "All participants showed creativity and a creative approach in composing impactful slogans. Some of them even sent slogans in poetic form, for which we are especially grateful. In the future, the slogans submitted for the contest will be used in our videos and eco-activities."
The most active participants of the competition turned out to be students of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. Sakhydovlet Khummetjumaev, a first-year student of the Faculty of International Relations, submitted the slogan "Clean Nature - Safe Life" for the competition. The young man has been passionate about biology since childhood, and although he plans to become a diplomat in the future, issues of nature management and ecology are always relevant and important to him.
"I have now applied for the competition of environmental projects 'Fulfill your eco-dream!' which is held among students," the young man notes. "I hope that my work will also be recognized by the jury."
The plans of the Public Organization "Ýaş Tebigatçy" include the launch of an official website, the establishment of a club of young ecologists, and the opening of organization branches in all regions of Turkmenistan. The goal of the project is to attract the attention of the population, especially the youth, to the careful attitude towards natural resources. After all, as one of the slogans submitted for the competition states, "Love for our homeland begins with love for nature."
