In the current agricultural year in the Lebap velayat of the country, spring short potatoes will be planted on 1,400 hectares, from which it is planned to collect 19 thousand 600 tons.

Farmers seeking to obtain 140 centners of harvest per hectare are currently irrigating crops, interstitial treatment, and feeding with the necessary organic and mineral fertilizers. This, in turn, promotes high growth and increased yields.

This season, 480 hectares have been planted in the Charjev etrap, 350 hectares in the Danev etrap, and 300 and 130 hectares in the Sayat and Halach etraps, respectively, which makes a great contribution to the harvest.

In the velayat this year it is planned to sow onions on 900 hectares in the spring and increase the yield of each hectare to 250, and in the season to produce 22 thousand 500 tons of onions.

In this direction, in all etraps, as a result of organized work, caring for crops in accordance with agrotechnical standards, and the painstaking work of farmers, a rich onion harvest is created. In this work, farmers of the horticultural lands of the Charjev and Hojambaz etraps are highlighted, which occupy 230 and 221 hectares, respectively.

Currently, the conscientious care of crops carried out by vegetable growers of the velayat indicates their desire to achieve their high goals.
