A concert dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Honored Education Worker of Turkmenistan, Associate Professor of the Department of Wind and Percussion Instruments Berdyniyaz Rejepmedov took place in the Great Hall of the Turkmen National Conservatory named after Maya Kuliyeva.

The appearance on stage of the hero of the day himself was interesting – the orchestra of wind and percussion instruments greeted him with the original composition “Bahar geldi ülkämize”. The audience stood up, and Berdyniyaz Rejepmedov took his place on the conductor’s stand and bowed the audience to friendly applause.

The concert program included the best Turkmen and foreign works. The music of Giuseppe Verdi and Veli Mukhatov, Johann Brahms and Alexander Varlamov, Felix Mendelssohn and the Turkmen folk melody “Baga seýle” was played.

During the concert, colleagues and students, congratulating the hero of the day, told the audience in the hall about the life and work of Berdyniyaz Rejepmedov, who devoted himself entirely to the service of music. As a teacher, for many years he educated a galaxy of aspiring musicians in a special children’s music boarding school at TNC, and then worked painstakingly to develop young talents at the conservatory. His personal contribution to the development of musical art in our country is invaluable. In addition to his teaching activities, he organized a wind orchestra at the conservatory. And many of his students became famous musicians.

Berdyniyaz Rejepmedov has always been not indifferent to the talent of young people. Even at the anniversary concert for striking a high note in Verdi’s opera “Rigoletto,” he hugged Rovshen Bayramov on stage as a sign of sincere gratitude for his extraordinary talent.

The hero of the day himself presented extraordinary conducting to the audience during the performance of Johann Strauss’s “Vienna March”. He conducted both the orchestra and the audience – by turns. The audience supported the melody of the bravura march with friendly clapping.

The concert ended with the solemn work “Toý aýdymy” by Chary Nurymov. The soloists were Aina Seitkulieva, Rovshen Bayramov and Begench Moshiev.

Three gorgeous voices merged together, emphasizing the tribute to the talented music teacher.
