The competition «Seeds of Wisdom: Lessons from Great Minds» is dedicated to the anniversary of Magtymguly Fragi

Applications have begun for the competition «Seeds of Wisdom: Lessons from Great Minds», announced by the organizing committee of the VIII Moscow International Arts Festival «Sounds of Dutar» named after Nury Halmammedov in honour of the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great Turkmen poet and philosopher Magtymguly Fragi.

The purpose of the competition is to attract students of secondary and higher educational institutions to solve the problem of introducing children of secondary schools to the heights of literary and musical creativity of different peoples using the example of the life and work of the outstanding classical poet and philosopher Magtymguly Fragi.

Applications are accepted until 09/01/2024, the results of the competition will be announced on the 29th of October, 2024. The announcement of the results will take place in the Russian State Library, Pashkov House, in the concert hall of the department of music publications and sound recordings, during the international scientific and practical conference «Magtymguly and his role in world culture».

Videos or presentations in the following categories are submitted to the competition: Music and poetry in the works of Magtymguly; Philosophy and educational activities of Magtymguly; The image of Magtymguly in modern art Magtymguly and A. Tarkovskiy.

When evaluating works, the competition commission is guided by the following criteria: content, historical accuracy; colorfulness and stylistic authenticity of design; originality of presentation of material and use of original works.
