The international scientific-practical conference «Scientific views of the student youth in the Era of Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State» took place today at the International Oil and Gas University named after Yagshygeldi Kakayev.

Teachers, professors as well as numerous students of higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan and a number of foreign countries, which took part in the II Open International Olympiad on Informatics OIOIUS-2024 held in the prestigious university, were invited to participation in the hybrid format forum.

The present conference and exhibition organised on its margins were one of the important actions of the year «The Fount of Wisdom of Magtymguly Fragi», held with a view of successful solution of goals set out in the «Strategy of international cooperation of youth of Turkmenistan for 2023-2030».

Following its international obligations, our country is aimed at deepening of constructive partnership in basic areas of global development. One of them - international cooperation of the youth, who take an active part in construction of bright future of the planet.

As was underlined in speeches of participants of the forum, in Turkmenistan, as well as in many countries, the youth take more and more advanced positions, bringing an invaluable contribution to achievement of high goals and objectives aimed at further prosperity of our fatherland, augmentation of its authority on the world scene, maintenance of well-being of our people.

As known, education of the high spirit, highly qualified, intellectually and physically developed younger generation, and true patriots of our fatherland was and remains to be one of the strategic goals of state development in the Era of Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State.

For the strengthening of the legal basis of the work carried out in the given area, the basic document - the Law of Turkmenistan «On the state youth policy» was developed and adopted in a new edition and for the successful solution of the goals designated in it, the Government program in the field of the state youth policy of Turkmenistan for 2021-2025 and Plan of actions for its realisation were approved.

It became another evidence of the fact that our country brings a big contribution to successful realisation of the goals of sustainable development of the United Nations aimed at solution of a complex of issues, connected with the youth.

Turkmenistan creates all favourable conditions for formation, development and personal growth of young Turkmen nationals, expansion of possibilities for maximum realisation of their intellectual, creative and spiritual potential, active participation of the youth in political, social, economic, and cultural life of the country.

Today, the talented student youth successfully displays its knowledge and skill at festivals of art and sports events, creative competitions, various subject Olympiads.

So, students of higher educational establishments of Turkmenistan displayed good results in the II Open International Olympiad on Informatics OIOIUS-2024 held the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil And Gas University.

For the title of the best in this intellectual competition, students trained under programs of speciality, bachelor degree and magister from more than 50 higher educational institutions from the countries of near and far abroad competed.

At the first stage of the Olympiad, its participants were given 5 assignments for solution of various practical problems in the programming languages specified in the list approved by the Organizing committee.

At the second stage - technical project for complex solution of problems on cyber security.

All assignments were developed by the working group as a part of local and foreign professors-teachers and experts and were co-ordinated by juries.

For check of work of the programs created by participants, the special software developed by teachers of YKIOGU was used.

On completion of the conference, the ceremony of awarding of winners of the International Olympiad by medals and diplomas took place.

Under solemn conditions, prize-winners of the Olympiad were presented with costly presents on behalf of President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

Expressing gratitude for a high organizational level of this important intellectual competition, participants of the Olympiad underlined its unconditional importance for development of international youth cooperation.

In their general opinion, similar actions, in addition to the strengthening of positions of our country in the world scientific-educational space, will raise social activity and aspiration of the Turkmen youth - builders of the future of our fatherland - to advanced sciences and knowledge, as well as will promote establishment of close contacts and mutual exchange of opinions on vital topics of today with their peers from abroad.

So, during their stay on the hospitable Turkmen land foreign students were acquainted with modern conditions created for education of our youth, organisation of work in higher educational institutions of the country, sights of white marble-coated Ashgabat.

In this connection, necessity of encouragement of available mutual interest and active promotion of wide cultural and scientific exchange on a regular basis that will promote directly mutual understanding and increase trust between people of the people was underlined.

Having expressed confidence that the present forum will become an important step on the path of consolidation of the constructive international dialogue, the gathered expressed their sincere gratitude to President of Turkmenistan to Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero-Arkadag for their many-sided activity aimed at maintenance of peace, sustainable development, expansion of international cooperation, including cooperation of the youth.

The performance of the song-music group of students of the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University became a creative gift for participants and visitors of the forum.

Participants of the International Olympiad and scientific-practical conference adopted the letter of thanks to the President of Turkmenistan.
