In honor of the National Holiday of the Turkmen Horse, various events, book and art exhibitions are being held throughout the country, showcasing the history and art of the Akhal-Teke horse breeding. 

Thus, the Department of Foreign Language Literature at the State Library of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan has opened an exhibition of books by Hero-Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov dedicated to the Akhal-Teke horses, which are the priceless treasure and pride of the Turkmen people.

The publications, translated into many foreign languages, such as "The Horse - Symbol of Loyalty and Happiness", "Flight of the Heavenly Horses", "Akhal-Teke - Our Pride and Glory" and "The Swift March of the Horse", allow a wide audience to learn about the history and modern achievements in the breeding of Akhal-Teke horses and familiarize themselves with the development of horse breeding in Turkmenistan.

The Center for Public Organizations hosted the exhibition of books and a music meeting, organized in collaboration with the State Library of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan. Participants discussed interesting facts from the book "The Horse - Symbol of Loyalty and Happiness" and musical performances were also presented.

The festive event "Bedewim ak ganatym" took place in Bedirkent gengeshlik of Gorogly etrap, where cultural figures, bakhshis, athletes and young artists participated. On an improvised plein air, the masters of brushes and paints depicted Akhal-Teke horses against the backdrop of picturesque nature.

All these events precede the grand celebrations planned for the National Holiday of the Turkmen Horse, which is traditionally celebrated on the last Sunday of April. This year, it falls on April 28.

In the upcoming weekend, the city of Arkadag will host the International Beauty Contest of Akhal-Teke horses for the first time. The results of the competitions among artists, sculptors, carpet weavers, jewelers, photographers, publishing workers, designers and operators, who celebrate the glory of the "heavenly" horses in their activities, will also be announced there.
