The Delegation of European Union to Turkmenistan is conducting an essay contest titled "What can I do for our planet".

Eco-activists aged 14 to 18 are invited to participate in the creative competition.

The essays should contain innovative ideas on waste reduction, energy conservation, sustainable development or climate change mitigation.

The languages of essay writing are Turkmen, English and Russian. The length of the essays should be at least 8,000 characters without spaces or up to 10,000 characters without spaces.

Submissions are accepted until May 6 via e-mail address aygul.bashimova@eeas.europa.eu.

The winners' names will be announced on June 1.
