On April 22, 2024, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the UAE along with the Humanitarian Association of World Turkmens (GATM) organized an event in the building of the Embassy dedicated to the 300th anniversary from the birth of the great Turkmen poet and thinker, Magtymguly Fragi. The event was attended by the representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, the Embassies of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and the Turkmen diaspora.

Ambassador of Turkmenistan S.Garajayev, Deputy Head of the Emirates branch of the Humanitarian Association of World Turkmens Nasir Ahmad Khoja Myrat ogly and other participants during their speeches noted that the literary heritage of the great poet has become an invaluable treasure of the world art.

As a part of the event, participants also got acquainted with the books of the President of Turkmenistan “Youth - the support of the Motherland”, “Anau - culture from the depths of millennia” and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan “City of Arkadag - the city of the future”.

At the end of the event, the participants were presented with the collections of poems by the Turkmen poet in Arabic.
