Children, who are brought up in the “Döwletliler köşgi” capital’s Palace, with the assistance of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care, visited the Republic of Türkiye. They took part in cultural events held annually on April 23 on the occasion of Türkiye’s National Sovereignty and Children’s Day.
In accordance with the cultural program prepared by the Council of Elders of the Organization of Turkic States, the Döwletliler köşgi Palace’s fosterlings participated in creative events held in Ankara and Istanbul cities. It should be noted that children from member countries and observer states of the OTS were invited to the current celebrations.
As part of the cultural program, the children visited the mausoleum of Ata Turk. A visit to the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye, where they were warmly received, and acquaintance with the peculiarities of the work of the Parliament left an unforgettable impression on the children.
A meeting was also held with the President of the Republic of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The foster children of the Palace “Döwletliler köşgi” expressed sincere gratitude to the President of the fraternal country for the hospitality accorded on Turkish soil and for ensuring a high level of organization of events.
The children reciting poems in Turkish and presenting the book of the President of Turkmenistan “Ýaşlar – Watanyň daýanjy”, translated into Turkish, as a sign of gratitude to the President of Türkiye became exciting moments. President Recep Tayyip Erdogan was also presented takhya and dutar, which are national treasures of the Turkmen people. In this regard, the head of the Turkish Republic expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the children, as well as to Hero-Arkadag, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the brotherly Turkmen people.
It should be noted that caring for the younger generation is a key criterion of social policy initiated by Hero-Arkadag and successfully implemented under the leadership of the President of Turkmenistan. The younger generation and issues related to the health and harmonious development of youth are in the center of constant attention of the state. Despite the fact that little time has passed since the creation of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care, it has carried out numerous humanitarian actions aimed at improving the health of children. At the expense of the Foundation, many children underwent complex operations and their health was restored. The Foundation also sent humanitarian aid to a number of countries around the world for children affected by natural disasters. All this is an expression of the development in the modern era of the age-old humanistic traditions and principles of the Turkmen people.
Also in our country, at the state level, all opportunities are created to strengthen the health of children, their interesting and useful pastime and recreation. This testifies to the success of the noble undertakings of the Hero-Arkadag.
Events on the occasion of the widely celebrated Day of National Sovereignty and Children of Türkiye serve to popularize the national culture of the fraternal people, familiarize themselves with the traditions and customs of the member states and observer countries of the OTS, as well as exchange experience in relevant areas.
The fosterlings of the Palace “Döwletliler köşgi”, who visited the fraternal country, expressed deep gratitude to Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar for the attention paid to expanding their horizons, including the opportunity to become closely acquainted with the culture of the Turkish people. They assured that, by effectively using the conditions created by the state, they would grow up to be a worthy generation that would contribute to the harmonious development of the Homeland.
