"Ýaş Tebigatçy" organization summed up the results of two competitions

The public organization "Ýaş tebigatçy" ("Young Naturalist") is actively working to draw the attention of the younger generation to environmental protection issues. Since the beginning of the spring period, the organization has held environmental events that also involve a creative approach.

During the announced competitions "Crafts from recycled materials" and "Harbingers of spring through the lens of young naturalists" , the "Ýaş tebigatçy" email received many applications from nature lovers and young naturalists. The submitted works were evaluated by the jury, and the authors of the best ones received incentive gifts.

8-year-old Margarita Samsonova from Ashgabat won the competition "Harbingers of spring through the lens of young naturalists" for the best photograph of nature awakening. As a reward, she received a diploma, a memorable gift and a photo session with capital’s videographer Sergey Mirzoev. For the competition, the girl sent a photo frame of blooming flowers against the backdrop of mountains with snowy peaks.

According to representatives of the public organization "Ýaş tebigatçy", choosing the best work in the crafts competition was not an easy task. Each participant showed maximum creativity and imagination. There were the robot created from yogurt containers, the original house made from colored pens, the snowflake made from used light bulbs and the "Bunny" backpack made from plastic bottles and woolen threads.

One of the most memorable creations was the "Milli Roombox" craft. The author of the work is folk craftswoman Chinar Tuvakmedova. For several years, the master has been creating miniature compositions in vintage suitcases. The main subjects of the miniatures contain scenes from the life of the Turkmen people.

"For me, as the pioneer of this activity in Turkmenistan, the most important thing is to emphasize the national flavor," says Chinar Tuvakmedova. "Each such souvenir is created with special love and knowledge of our traditions and rituals. Currently, I am working on creating a composition for the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly Fragi. My new work will be presented at a large exhibition in the city of Anev, declared the cultural capital of the Turkic world in 2024."

Due to the ingenuity of the crafts competition participants, the organizers decided to award each master with letters of appreciation.
