A book exhibition entitled «Magtymguly Pyragynyň edebi mirasy» («The Literary Heritage of Magtymguly Fragi»), dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of the classical poet and philosopher of the East, was organized in the library of the Ahal velayat.
Readers who come to familiarize themselves with the publications presented at the exhibition are told about the large-scale work being carried out in the country to popularize and scientifically study the creative heritage of the great poet. In the year of «The Fount of the Wisdom Magtymguly Fragi», this work gained even greater scope, both at the national and international levels. The immortal poetic word of Magtymguly and his humanistic ideas are heard today all over the world, increasing the glory of the outstanding son of the Turkmen people.
As noted, the widespread celebration of the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly Fragi is of great importance in the study of his rich literary heritage, which is part of the golden treasury of world literature.
