In order to instill a sense of patriotism in children, encourage them to engage in creativity, develop their artistic talent and expand their worldview, the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care announced a drawing competition «Biz – Arkadag Serdarly Watanyň bagtyýar nesilleri».
The competition «Biz – Arkadag Serdarly Watanyň bagtyýar nesilleri» is open to children of the country under fourteen years of age, who must submit one work. Original works can be submitted to the competition, reflecting love for the Fatherland, native land, family foundations, beautiful nature, national heritage, in a frame measuring 30x40 cm, designed for exhibition purposes and not previously exhibited at the competition. Jury members evaluate the contestants' drawings based on artistic design, quality, meaning and originality.
The competition will be held in two stages: at the first stage, competitive works from the velayats of the country, the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag will be considered by local organizational groups, which will select 50 works to participate in the final stage. These works, along with personal data about their authors, will be sent to the Central Council of the Youth Organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly by the 20th of May, 2024.
At the final stage of the competition, five talented children will be selected from the authors of fifty works presented by the regions of the country, the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag. At a time determined by the jury, participants in the final stage will have to prepare works on four proposed topics.
The decision on the results of the competition is made based on the number of votes cast by the jury members, and I, II, and III places are distributed among the participating children from each of the velayats, the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag. The ceremony of announcing the results of the competition and awarding the winners and participants of the competition will take place under the auspices of the Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov as part of the events that will be held on the 1st of June, 2024 on the occasion of International Children's Day.
