The footballers of "Arkadag" secured their 11th victory in the Turkmenistan Championship 2024 among the top league clubs. In the 13th round, Vladimir Bayramov’s wards defeated their closest pursuer "Akhal" with a score of 4-0, solidifying their leading position. "Akhal" had previously won three times under the leadership of new head coach Dovletmyrat Annayev.

The match took place at the capital stadium "Nisa". The guests took the lead in the 5th minute through Altymyrat Annadurdyev's efforts. He scored a double in the 37th minute. Last year's top scorer Didar Durdyev increased the lead to three goals in the 53rd minute. Begench Akmamedov sealed the final score in the 73rd minute.

By breaking "Akhal's" winning streak, "Arkadag" accumulated 33 points, extending their lead to 9 points over the nearest pursuer. The reigning Turkmenistan champion has played one game less.

In third place with 21 points after 10 games, "Altyn Asyr" convincingly defeated last year's bronze medalist "Nebitchi" in Balkanabat with a score of 5-0. Rahman Myratberdyev (8th and 70th minutes) and Arslan Saparov (32nd and 51st minutes) scored doubles for the team of the agency "Turkmenaragatnashyk", while Vahit Orazsakhedov added another goal (69th minute).

In another match of the 13th round, the capital's "Kopetdag" secured a home victory against "Merv" with a score of 2-0, avenging their defeat in the first round - 1-2. 

Tofik Shukurov's team broke the guests' resistance only in the last 17 minutes of the game thanks to goals from Batyr Tachnazarov (73rd) and Suleyman Mirzoyev (84th).

Following this victory, "Kopetdag" with 9 points closely approached the seventh-placed "Nebitchi," which has 12 points and played one more match. "Merv" remained in fourth place with 18 points.
