Spring planting of fruit and vegetable crops and melons was successfully carried out in the Dashoguz velayat. In total, the land area allocated for planting tomatoes, onions, cucumbers, cabbage and carrots amounted to more than four thousand hectares. Another three thousand seven hundred and forty-five hectares in the region were occupied by melon crops.

The responsible agro-technical campaign was completed within acceptable agro-technical timeframes, which, along with proper care of the plantings, should play an important role in achieving a high yield. Taking into account the climatic conditions of the region, local farmers paid special attention to the selection of land plots for planting and sowing material. They strive to combine accumulated cultivation experience with modern scientific recommendations. It should be noted that fall planting of onions, carrots and garlic is also carried out in the velayat.

Farmers annually make a significant contribution to saturating the domestic consumer market with high-quality fruit, vegetable and melon products. Due to the comprehensive work consistently carried out by the state to develop the agricultural sector of the national economy and the wide opportunities created for rural workers, important tasks set for the agro-industrial complex are being successfully implemented, including import substitution; the local entrepreneurial corps is actively involved in agricultural production.
