In honor of the 300th anniversary of the great poet Magtymguly Fragi, a Turkmen-American book fair was held in the Dashoguz velayat library.
The event was organized by the government of Turkmenistan jointly with the US Embassy in Turkmenistan.
The exhibition featured classic works of American literature, translated into Turkmen with the assistance of the US Embassy in Turkmenistan.
To date, the diplomatic mission has published 14 such publications. It should be noted that the American Ambassadors Fund for Cultural Preservation program is currently working on the restoration of some manuscripts from the Magtymguly era. This is evidence of the strengthening of cultural and humanitarian interaction between Turkmenistan and the United States.
In his address to those present, US Ambassador to Turkmenistan Matthew Klimow emphasized that a good book is a companion. She becomes a person's friend. He also donated a collection of English-language educational materials to the library on behalf of the US Embassy in Turkmenistan.
