The ongoing International Exhibition of Modern Food Production Technologies in Ashgabat showcases the achievements and potential of domestic producers.

Among the wide range of products presented at the Expo Center of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan are author's products made of camel wool from the Turkmen brand "Iner düýe ýüňi" (Unique Camel Wool).

Shasanem Garlyyeva, a member of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, founded her own production in 2018. By creating unique products, the entrepreneur popularizes the ethno-cultural heritage of the Turkmen people.

The domestic producer's brand produces a variety of products: outerwear, blankets, pillowcases, textiles and much more.

Hand-made products from camel wool, which have aroused the interest of local and foreign buyers, have been exported to Italy, France and the Netherlands. Recently, Turkmen products were presented at the International Festival of Gold Embroidery and Jewelry in Bukhara.

"Following the principles of ancient weaving techniques, we create our product from start to end by hand," says brand representative Jennet Garlyyeva. "This is a whole process that includes shearing, drying, cleaning wool, felting and weaving on the loom. We do not use dyes in our work, so all our products made of camel wool are of high quality and environmentally friendly."

In the future, manufacturers plan to focus on the production of fashion collections made of camel wool.
