An exhibition titled "White Marble Beautiful City of Ashgabat" has been unveiled at the State Museum of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan. It opens with photographs of state symbols.
The capital of Turkmenistan is rich in attractions, with many of them entered into the Guinness Book of Records. These include the State Flag of Turkmenistan with the world's tallest flagpole and the television tower with the largest six-pointed star. They are also captured in photographs in the exhibition.
The stands feature various photographs: residential and administrative building complexes that amaze with the beauty of modern architecture, parks of culture and recreation fragrant with exotic plants, and original monuments adorning the city's avenues and streets.
A special charm to the exhibition "White Marble Beautiful City of Ashgabat" is added by jewelry compositions provided from the funds of the Museum of the President of Turkmenistan. Skillfully executed compositions in gilded miniature depict images of famous monuments of the capital. Complementing them are carpets recreating the beautiful image of the capital - "Ak şäherim Aşgabat", "Parla baýdagym", as well as "Şöhratly geçmişden beýik geljege".
A prominent place is given to the books of the Hero-Arkadag, providing spiritual guidance for the youth. Familiarizing oneself with the exhibits of the exhibition, one can imagine the rapid development of Ashgabat. Today, the white marble capital of Turkmenistan is called the pearl of Central Asia. Ashgabat residents strive to make this definition stick to their beloved city forever.
The ceremonial opening of the exhibition "White Marble Beautiful City of Ashgabat" took place in the main building of the museum. Among the guests were employees of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, teachers of specialized secondary educational institutions, and media representatives. Their interesting and emotional speeches were met with warm applause from the exhibition visitors.
