On World Environment Day, an environmental camp began its work at the Bouygues Carbon Training Center in Ashgabat. It is organized by the UNICEF Country Office in Turkmenistan in cooperation with the company "Bouygues Turkmen" and the public organization "Yash Tebigatchy".

24 activists from all over Turkmenistan are participating in the eco-camp. Mohammad Fayyazi, the UNICEF Representative in Turkmenistan, while opening the event, emphasized the important role of youth in combating climate change and thanked the selected participants for their activity in their communities.

The camp will continue its work until the seventh of June.
