The second day of the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Energy Prospects, New Technologies and Environmental Aspects of Hydrocarbon Field Development" (TESC-2024) opened with a panel discussion organized jointly with UN representatives.

The session: "Enhancing Energy Security and Sustainability of Energy Systems through Energy Integration and Trade" included presentations by energy sector specialists. Aganiyaz Jumaniyazov, an employee of the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan, spoke about the cooperation of the Turkmen university with international organizations on the development of "green" hydrogen energy in our country.

It is worth noting that various projects have been developed and implemented within the framework of cooperation between the Institute and the OSCE Center in Ashgabat, the International Energy Agency (IEA) and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). These include the "Roadmap for the Development of Green Hydrogen Energy in Turkmenistan", a pilot project for the production of "green hydrogen" and the concept for implementing a pilot project for a solar-hydrogen power supply system for remote settlements.

For the successful implementation of projects, calculation methods are used, including situation analysis and forecasting of development prospects. The advantages of hydrogen energy, such as decarbonization of industries and increased energy efficiency, make this technology an important component of sustainable development.

At the end of the event, the conference speaker emphasized that cooperation with international organizations plays a key role in the development of green hydrogen energy in Turkmenistan.

Through the implementation of pilot projects and the development of strategies, our country is moving towards a sustainable and innovative future based on clean energy sources.
