Farmers of Dashoguz velayat are fully ready for the harvesting campaign

Dashoguz velayat today has an extensive park of specialized grain harvesting machinery. In the coming days, more than three hundred combine harvesters of the well-known brands "John Deere" and "CLAAS" will participate in the mass harvesting of the wheat crop.

This high-performance equipment, well-adapted to the terrain and climatic conditions of the region, is fully prepared for uninterrupted operation during the harvest days. All necessary organizational measures have been taken to achieve maximum efficiency in its operation, including the prompt provision of fuel and lubricants, as well as transportation for the removal of threshed wheat.

This year, the velayat has a good wheat harvest of the varieties "Sakhrayi," "Juvan," "Alekseevich," "Bezostaya-100" and other high-yielding and milling-quality varieties, grown on 145 thousand hectares.

The largest producers of grains will be the Akdepe etrap, where the area of the field is a total of 35 thousand hectares, and the S. Turkmenbashy etrap, where the area of land allocated for grain is 28.5 thousand hectares. Considering the climatic features, the harvest in the velayat begins a little later than in other regions of the country. However, this only increases the responsibility of local grain growers for the successful completion of the entire cycle of work on harvesting the grown crop. Therefore, they have thoroughly prepared for the harvesting campaign, which also includes the uninterrupted operation of grain receiving points and elevators. Preventive maintenance work was carried out at these facilities in time, if necessary, to ensure proper storage and transportation of the grown crop. Specialized laboratories are also in full readiness, where the quality of the incoming grain will be determined using the most modern equipment.
