A yoga master class was held in the National Tourist Zone of Avaza as part of a physical culture and health promotion event organized by the Embassy of India in Turkmenistan.
Numerous yoga enthusiasts, as well as children vacationing these days in health resorts on the Caspian coast, gathered at the indoor water park venue. Under the guidance of experienced instructors, the participants began practicing asanas and breathing exercises.
The Ambassador of India to Turkmenistan attended the master class. Congratulating those present, Madhumita Hazarika Bhagat noted that every year on June 21, events are held in many cities and countries to celebrate the International Day of Yoga. On this occasion, similar sessions will be held on June 12 and 14 in Turkmenabat and the city of Mary.
On June 21, an open yoga lesson will also take place in the Olympic Village of Ashgabat.
It is worth noting that the new resort season in Avaza is gaining momentum. Recently, the Magtymguly Youth Organization of Turkmenistan of the Turkmenbashy City Council of Balkan velayat held competitions for kite flying and sand sculpture making among children of the "Daýanç" health center.
Aplein air event was held by the coast for children vacationing at the "Balkan" Health Resort Center. Young artists who successfully captured the seascapes of the Caspian Sea received memorable souvenirs from the organizers of the competition.
