Today at the Turkmen State University named after a solemn handover ceremony took place to Magtymguly a certificate indicating that the celestial object (star) in the constellation Pegasus was given the name Arkadag. Together with a Certificate to one of the prestigious and oldest universities the telescope and the photographs it took were transferred to the country object.

As is known, scientists from the Space-Earth Society studying celestial bodies, named one of the stars in the sky by the name “Arkadag” in honor of the first anniversary of the opening of the city of Arkadag and how a symbol of pride for this city.

A joyful message about this was heard on June 29, the day of the anniversary city during the ceremonial conference held here.

The decision to transfer the relevant Certificate, telescope and photographs at TSU named after Magtymguly were taken in order to detailed acquaintance of our compatriots with information about the star. To the thunderous applause of the audience, the Minister of Education Turkmenistan Bayramgul Orazdurdyeva Certificate was solemnly presented to the acting Rector of the university Durdymurat Annaev. We warmly congratulated you on this festive and significant event faculty and students of the capital university guests gathered.
