On July 20, 2024, a video conference meeting took place between the leadership of the State Concern "Turkmengaz" and Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology of the United Arab Emirates, the Director General of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC).

During the meeting, the parties discussed a wide range of issues related to the implementation of cooperation projects in the gas sector. Specifically, they addressed matters concerning the development of the Galkynysh gas field in Turkmenistan and ADNOC's participation in international energy projects carried out by Turkmenistan.

As known, since 2023, ADNOC has been closely collaborating with the State Concern "Turkmengaz" in accordance with international standards and practices in the gas industry.

Following the video conference, the Turkmen and Emirati sides reaffirmed their mutual commitment to continuing their partnership. This includes strengthening the legal framework for cooperation and examining specific economic and technological aspects related to ongoing projects.
