The UN Development Program in Turkmenistan invites youth to participate in a poster competition on the theme "Youth and Peace." The competition is dedicated to World Youth Day, celebrated annually on August 12, and is organized in collaboration with a project aimed at preventing violent extremism with support of the Government of Japan.

This initiative aims to provide young people with the opportunity to express their ideas and perspectives on how the younger generation can contribute to building a peaceful community. Participants can be in three age categories: 14 to 18 years, 18 to 24 years and 24 to 35 years. To participate, a poster must be created, accompanied by a short note (50-60 words) explaining its content.

Works can be submitted in Turkmen, Russian or English. Posters should be sent to youthfutureskills@gmail.com, including the participant's full name, age and place of residence. Deadline: August 10, 2024.
