School fairs opened in Turkmenistan

Traditional school fairs began operating on August 1 in Ashgabat, Arkadag city and regional centers of the country. Mobile stalls offer a wide selection of stationery and school supplies.

For the new 2024/2025 academic year, enterprises of the Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan have produced classic school uniform models. These include suits and ties for boys, green dresses and white aprons for girls. The assortment also includes takhya hats, a symbol of traditional Turkmen clothing.

The first customers have already set out to buy new school uniforms. According to sellers, sportswear, T-shirts and caps with national symbols are in highest demand this year. This aligns with the state policy of promoting sports and mass physical activity.

The school bazaars will continue operating until September 5.

Additionally, from August 19 to 22, Ashgabat will host the International Universal Exhibition-Fair "Kids Expo: Everything for Children". The country's Chamber of Commerce and Industry will showcase products for children, schoolchildren and students from both Turkmen and foreign manufacturers.
