The delegation of Turkmenistan is taking part in the international school of volunteers from the countries of the Organization of Turkic States, which is being held in Kyrgyzstan on the 12th to 16th of August.
The event is aimed at strengthening ties in the volunteer sphere, increasing the role of volunteering in solving social, economic, environmental and other problems, promoting and supporting volunteering.
The international school serves as a platform for the exchange of experience, knowledge and best practices in the field of volunteering, contributing to the strengthening of ties between organizations, the wide involvement of young people in volunteering.
In Turkmenistan, volunteering is actively developing with the support of the state, public organizations and international structures. The legal basis for the development of the volunteer movement is the Law of Turkmenistan «On Volunteering», which defines the basic principles and types of activities, goals and objectives, the main forms and procedures for implementing this activity, as well as measures of state support for volunteering.
