The Turkmen team "Altyn Asyr" will host its home games of the AFC Champions League 2 season 2024/2025 at the "Kopetdag" stadium in Ashgabat, as announced by the Asian Football Confederation.
The group stage of the AFC Champions League 2 will feature 32 teams divided into two zones, West and East, based on geography.
According to the draw held in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), "Altyn Asyr's" opponents in the group stage will be Saudi club "Al-Taawoun", Iraq's "Air Force", and "Al-Hidd" from Bahrain, forming Group B.

Group H: Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors (South Korea), Selangor (Malaysia), Muangthong United (Thailand), Dynamic Herb Cebu FC (Philippines).
The group stage matches of the AFC Champions League 2 will take place from September 17 to December 5. During this stage, participants will play three home and three away matches. The top two teams from each group will advance to the Round of 16.
Altyn Asyr will play its first match in the AFC Champions League 2 on September 18, 2024, away against the Iraqi club "Air Force". Notably, these teams previously met in 2018 in Basra, Iraq, in the AFC Cup final, where "Air Force" won 2-0.
In the second round on October 2, the Turkmen vice-champion will host Bahrain's "Al-Hidd" at the "Kopetdag" stadium. Then, Yazguly Hojageldiyev's team will play two consecutive games against Al-Taawoun: on October 23 in Saudi Arabia and November 6 in Ashgabat. In the 5th round, "Altyn Asyr" will play at home against Iraq's "Air Force" on November 27. The group stage of the AFC Champions League 2 will conclude for the "Turkmenaragatnashyk" agency team on December 4 with an away match against "Al-Hidd" (Bahrain).
