The Biotechnology Department of the International Scientific and Technological Park of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan has obtained a copyright for the technology to produce a lactose gel intended for comprehensive correction of age-related skin changes, as confirmed by a certificate issued by the State Intellectual Property Service of the Ministry of Finance and Economy of the country.

This development pertains to the field of medical biotechnology and encompasses dermatology and cosmetology. It involves creating a gel that provides comprehensive correction of age-related skin changes and has a rejuvenating effect.

The serum makes up approximately 80-90% of the total volume of milk processed into protein products and contains about 50% of the important components found in raw milk. These components include dissolved proteins, lactose, minerals, vitamins and a small amount of highly dispersed milk fat.

Applying the serum to the skin using low-frequency ultraphonophoresis allows amino acid molecules to improve the water and protein balance of the skin, promote health and biostimulation, and provide balanced physiological nutrition and hydration to cells.

The unique physicochemical properties and biological value of lactose create high demand for the serum in industries such as feed, food and pharmaceuticals. The use of milk serum as a main ingredient in developing new cosmetic products is one of the innovative trends in cosmetics.

"The relevance of studying milk serum is due to its promising use in bionanotechnology based on zero-waste production," says Altyn Rakhmanova, head of the Biotechnology Department at the International Scientific and Technological Park. "The creation and implementation of such technologies allow for comprehensive extraction of all raw material components, transforming them into valuable products while reducing environmental harm by eliminating or reducing waste emissions into the environment."
