The International Learning Festival (ILF 2024) was held at Singapore Polytechnic University to celebrate the university's 70th anniversary.

ILF 2024 was themed "Evolving Teaching and Learning in the Age of Artificial Intelligence and Sustainability."

The event brought together representatives from the fields of science and education, as well as partners of the Singaporean university from various countries around the world, to celebrate achievements in higher education, expand connections, and foster cooperation within the academic community to improve teaching and learning methods in artificial intelligence and sustainability.

Myrat Rahmedov, a specialist from the Education Department of the Oguz Han Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan, participated in the festival on behalf of our country.

The festival featured the International Symposium on Advances in Technology Education (ISATE), an annual conference involving Singapore polytechnics, Japanese national institutes of technology, and several universities from Hong Kong and Finland, aimed at sharing best practices in using technology to enhance student learning.

The international event's program included the Learning Express (LeX) Conference, which brought together about 180 top leaders and senior representatives from Singapore University and 33 partner universities in the region participating in Learning Express student exchange programs.

The event also hosted the International Working Meeting CDIO (IWM) 2024. It brought together members of the CDIO Worldwide Initiative, which purpose is to promote collaboration in innovative curriculum design and teaching and learning practices.

The Singaporean university has been a long-standing partner of CDIO and its regional co-leader in Asia since 2011.

CDIO is a global network for collaboration in innovative engineering education, comprising over 200 universities from 35 countries worldwide. The CDIO Initiative (Conceive, Design, Implement and Operate) is an educational program focused on students mastering engineering specialties according to the model "Conceive— Design — Produce — Operate" real systems, processes, and products in the international market.

Strengthening cooperation within CDIO was the main goal of the Turkmen delegation's visit to Singapore.

It is noteworthy that in March 2023, Oguz Han Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan became the first university in Central Asia to be accepted as a full member of the CDIO organization. Demonstrating a commitment to excellence in academic and scientific fields and dedication to continuous development in innovative engineering education, the Turkmen university actively participates in various scientific-practical and educational events held within CDIO both domestically and internationally.
