Personnel of around two dozens of restaurants of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan were involved in organization of the festival of national cuisines.

Ten of them with logotypes and symbols of the Games were lined up in front of the entrance to the exhibition. Turkmen cuisine having largest place in the exposition was the first to greet the guests in decorated hall. True hits of national cuisine like ishlekly (meat pie), appetizing gutabs with different fillings (pumpkin, spinach and other), gatlakly, gyokly byorek and etly byorek (dumplings with greens and meat), rich gara chorba and toy chorbasy (soups), mealy plov, hot unash and kokmach, nourishing yarma and other were presented on snow-white table cloth in original setup.
Meat and fish delicacies like govurdak and govurma, kelle bash yak and chkdirme, whole baked lamb and exotic dishes from sturgeon are worth saying. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, speaking of this, highlighted that anybody who tried dograma cooked according to all rules, he would never forget this taste.

Ancient recipes have many modern variations and it is not the ingredients, which make the bread to be soft and tasty but special ritual of baking especially for celebration food. Ashgabat 2017 Games promise to be grandiose sports celebration of peace and friendship of the nations, where all the participants are awaited with rich treatment.
The Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations, State Association of Food Industry of Turkmenistan as well as private food producers expanded their expositions next to the dishes of Turkmen cuisine. This part of the exhibition looks like small supermarket, which displays are coloured by bright packages of local food brands and logotypes that gained good reputation and trust of consumers.
