In Turkmenistan, large-scale work is being carried out to effectively use natural resources to strengthen the economy and improve the standard of living of the population.
Not long ago, on the eve of the professional holiday of health and pharmaceutical workers, a modern enterprise for the production of glycyrrhizin acid from licorice root was opened in Turkmenabat. Licorice root, growing along the Amuderya River, has long been considered a national treasure of Turkmenistan. It is actively used in folk medicine, modern healthcare, confectionery production and cosmetics. The agro-industrial complex "Solodka", located in Turkmenabat and operating under the management of the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry, annually procures about 19 thousand tons of raw materials, processing it into a purified product and extract, which is exported to domestic and international markets.
The company has a computerized production management system, which significantly facilitates the control and management of processes. The production line provides for two stages of drying, after which glycyrrhizin acid is packed in 25-kilogram bags, ready for export. A special feature of the company is the use of production waste as mineral fertilizers for agriculture, which contributes to the environmental friendliness of production.
The enterprise symbolizes commitment of Turkmenistan for the efficient use of natural resources and demonstrates the high level of professionalism of its workers, ensuring the successful development of the new production.
