Yagshygeldi Kakaev International University of Oil and Gas and “PETRONAS Charigali (Turkmenistan) Sdn Bhd” signed a Memorandum of Understanding.

The signing ceremony was held on the sidelines of the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Prospects of Innovative Technologies in Chemistry and Gas Chemistry” at the Turkmen Oil and Gas University.

Based on the signed Memorandum, it is planned to expand and develop collaborative studies and project works in the fields of oil and gas, geological research, chemical technologies, digital economy, also renewable energy sources, green energy, and solving environmental problems related to climate change.

In addition, it is planned to carry out co-publications of research results of professors, teachers, specialists and young scientists in international indexed scientific journals.

Effective cooperation in the field of science and education between the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas, Petronas Charigali (Turkmenistan) Sdn Bhd and Petronas University of Technology have been successfully conducting for several years.

Professors and lecturers of the Petronas University of Technology regularly organize for students and young teachers of the IOGU named after Ya. Kakaev online courses and trainings on the introduction of innovative technologies and digital systems used in the oil and gas industry. Currently, four professors of the Technological University conduct week-long general trainings on various topics for teachers and students of the Turkmen university.
