On the eve of the 29th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality, the Ata Gowshudov Library, part of the Centralized Library System of the Ashgabat City Department of Culture and the Aman Kekilov Pedagogical School organized a joint event titled "Ata-baba halkyň ygrar-messebi, baky Bitaraplyk – bagtyň mesgeni."

The event highlighted the crucial significance of Turkmenistan gaining an internationally recognized neutral status. This status has determined the content of the state's foreign policy, created favorable conditions for the successful implementation of large-scale national plans in the economy and social sphere, and contributed to the establishment and strengthening of democratic institutions. Neutral Turkmenistan has become an initiator of important international initiatives aimed at ensuring peace and security, mutual understanding, and unity of peoples. As emphasized by speakers at the event, the country marks the 29th anniversary of its neutrality with new achievements in all areas and active promotion of positive neutrality principles on the international stage.

The Centralized Library System of the Ashgabat City Department of Culture together with the City Committee of the Democratic Party of Turkmenistan held an event at the Center for Public Organizations titled "Bitaraplyk syýasaty–bagtyýar durmuşyň gözbaşy," dedicated to International Neutrality Day. Speakers at this event noted that neutrality defines the prosperous life of Turkmen citizens today and their belief in a happy future.

Permanent neutrality is associated with constructive development in international relations and creative initiatives encompassing political, economic, historical and cultural aspects, as well as a happy and prosperous life for people. Importantly, over nearly three decades of neutrality in Turkmenistan, a new generation has grown up with ingrained noble principles of peace and security and an understanding of the importance of friendship and cooperation among peoples for the common good.
