A robotics competition among young people has ended at the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas.
The competition, organized by the Innovative Scientific and Educational Center of the university, was held for two days, from December 7 to December 8. More than 270 talented young people – schoolchildren and students from all over the country - performed at its venue. They competed in four categories: Sumo robots; line follower; labyrinth; team projects. According to the results of the competition, 18 participants won prizes. Six of them were awarded first places. This is Yusup Bayramdurdiyev (University of Engineering and Technology named afterOguz Khan), Orazsakhet Atamyradov (Institute of Engineering, Technical and Transport Communications), Maksat Kakaev (secondary school No. 96 in Ashgabat), Pyrguly Ovezov, Maksat Kakajanov and Oguzkhan Rejepogly Annageldiev (International University of Humanities and Development). Students of the capital's secondary schools received 6 second and 6 third places №129, 86, 97, 27, The Kämil Bilim Training Center and the International University of Oil and Gas named after Ya.Kakaev.
During the award ceremony, the winners were presented with valuable gifts. As part of the competition, an exhibition was organized at which technical universities, specialized secondary schools and educational centers of the country presented their achievements in the field of robotics.
The developments presented at the exhibition were designed not only to surprise, but also to shape the participants' worldview, to give them the opportunity to immerse themselves in the complex and fascinating world of technology. Many robots were demonstrated in Turkmenistan for the first time. Special attention of all participants and guests of the event was attracted by the fascinating show performance of the robot Anymal X, provided by PETRONAS Carigali (Turkmenistan) SdnBhd". It is worth noting the high level of organization of the competition, during which everything was thought out to the smallest detail, as a result of which the competition was held smoothly and successfully. The bright festival of young talents gave everyone a lot of pleasant impressions and emotions. The participants, united by common interests, were able to exchange experiences and acquire not only new knowledge, but also new friends and like-minded people.
The Robotics Youth Festival is an annual and long-awaited event for young and capable designers from different parts of our country. The number of people willing to take part in competitions is growing from year to year, which indicates a growing interest in robotics among young people. The main objectives of the festival are to identify talented young people, develop their interest in innovation, popularize robotics, and increase the motivation of schoolchildren and students for technical design and modeling.
