"Arkadag" won its thirtieth victory in the Turkmenistan Football Championship, beating the capital's "Altyn Asyr" 4:0 in the rescheduled match of the 27th round.

Before the game, which took place at the "Sport Toplumy" stadium in the Buzmeyin etrap of Ashgabat, the team of the agency "Turkmenaragatnashyk" still had a chance to take second place in the national championship. However, Vladimir Bayramov's team scored four unanswered goals against "Altyn Asyr", depriving it of its last hopes for silver medals, and with them the right to participate in one of the tournaments of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) in the coming season.

Shanazar Tirkishov opened the scoring in the 7th minute. Then Begench Akmamedov scored twice in the 32nd and 36th minutes. In the 41st minute, he could have scored a hat-trick from the 11-meter mark. However, the goalkeeper of "Altyn Asyr" did not allow B. Akmamedov to realize the penalty. A minute after the corner kick, Didar Durdyev set the final score with a header – 4:0.

So, "Arkadag" has finished its performance in the Turkmenistan Championship without losing a single point for the second year in a row. Earlier this year, this team, representing the “smart” city with the same name of national importance, won the title of national champion ahead of schedule for the second time and won the Turkmenistan Super Cup.

"Ahal" took second place one round before the end of the championship, earning the right, together with "Arkadag", to represent Turkmenistan in the AFC tournaments next season.

The bronze medals of the national championship, regardless of the matches remaining until the end of the championship, went to the football players of "Altyn Asyr".
