The results of the scientific-practical article contest on the theme "Creative Labor and Human Rights", announced by the National Center of Trade Unions of Turkmenistan in collaboration with the "Democracy and Law" journal of the Institute of State, Law and Democracy of Turkmenistan, were presented at a conference dedicated to the 29th anniversary of Turkmenistan gaining the status of permanent neutrality and International Human Rights Day.
Numerous articles were submitted to the competition by specialists from educational and scientific institutions and law enforcement agencies in the country. The best articles were published in the "Democracy and Law" journal. From the articles submitted to the competition, jury members selected the best from both theoretical and practical perspectives.
The first place was awarded to the article "The Role of Franchise Agreements in Entrepreneurship" by Arslan Mammedov, Chief Consultant of the Ombudsperson's Office. The article reflects comprehensive activities related to entrepreneurship development and its role in the country's economic development. It details mechanisms for supporting small and medium-sized businesses, guarantees for entrepreneurs' rights, features of franchise agreements, areas of application, as well as the role of these norms in the Civil Code of Turkmenistan.
Second place was shared by authors of materials "Digital Economy and Innovative Development" by Yunus Mukhammedov, a research associate at the Institute of State, Law and Democracy of Turkmenistan; "Development of the Constitution and Legal System of Turkmenistan" by Ashyrgeldi Jumayev, PhD in Law, Associate Professor at the Department of Civil Law at Magtymguly Turkmen State University; and Dilber Shayliyeva, Phd student at the Department of Constitutional Law.
Two third places were awarded for articles "The Creativity of Magtymguly Fragi and Principles of International Cooperation" by Ashyraly Nazarov, Second Secretary at the General Consulate of Turkmenistan in the Russian Federation (Kazan), and "The Caspian Sea – Sea of Peace and Friendship" by Gulshirin Charygulyeva, Chief Specialist at the Caspian Sea Institute of Turkmenistan.
Winners received honorary diplomas and valuable gifts from the National Center of Trade Unions of Turkmenistan and the Institute of State, Law and Democracy of Turkmenistan.
