The results of the friendly archery tournament "Golden Arrow of Diplomacy" were announced in Ashgabat. The event was organized in honor of the International Day of Neutrality and the 29th anniversary of Turkmenistan's attainment of permanent neutrality status.

The event took place at the Winter Sports Complex, gathering representatives from diplomatic missions and international organizations accredited in Turkmenistan. More than 30 participants enthusiastically competed for victory, many of whom held a bow for the first time and had no prior experience in this sport.

Before the beginning of the competition, participants attended a brief master class conducted by experienced archers. Then they proceeded to compete for the title of the most accurate shooter.

In a tense competition, Vadim Yakovlev, Second Secretary of the Russian Federation Embassy, emerged as the winner among men, receiving the top prize—the "Golden Arrow." Patrick Ryenke from the U.S. Embassy took second place, while Anton Goncharok, representing WHO, secured third place.

Among women, Ekaterina Ford from the U.S. Embassy claimed first place, with Minkyung Chae from South Korea taking second place, and Mihaiko Sasaki from Japan earning the bronze medal.

One of the highlights of the competition was a demonstration by experienced archers showcasing traditional archery skills.

After the award ceremony, winners cut a symbolic cake shaped like a target with arrows, enhancing the atmosphere of joy and celebration and highlighting the spirit of unity and friendship that prevailed at the event.

Participants expressed gratitude to the organizers—the National Archery Federation of Turkmenistan and the South Korean embassy—as well as to tournament sponsors: Resmi Kepil, Arçalyk, Ak Tam, Wok, and Ugur Türkmenistan.
