The «Altyn Asyr» football players won against «Ahal» 1:0 in a previously postponed match of the 30th round of the Turkmenistan Championship among clubs of the top league.

The opponents entered the game, which took place at the «Sport Toplumy» stadium in the capital's Buzmeyin etrap, as prize winners. «Ahal» secured silver medals ahead of schedule, one round before the end of the championship, while «Altyn Asyr» secured bronze. And so the match between the main contenders for the highest awards of the national championship in the recent past did not have much tournament significance, but was only of a prestige nature.

The outcome of the match in favor of «Turkmenaragatnashyk» agency team was decided by the only goal scored in the 21st minute by Rovshengeldi Halmammedov with a powerful shot from 12 meters into the upper left corner from the goalkeeper.

After this victory, «Altyn Asyr» scored 59 points, reducing the gap with Ahal to 8 points. Before the end of the Turkmenistan championship, Yazguly Hojageldiyev's team has two more matches to play - with «Ashgabat» in the postponed match of the 31st round and with «Kopetdag» in the match of the 32nd round.
