According to the Hydrometeorological Service of Turkmenistan, the weather in the last week of 2024 will be predominantly moderate, with possible short-term rains. Average daytime temperatures are expected to range from +7 to +15°C.  

In Ashgabat: There will be variable cloudiness. Daytime temperatures will be +7…+9°C, and nighttime temperatures will range from –3 to –1°C. Midweek, daytime temperatures are expected to rise to +14°C.  

In Ahal velayat: It will be mostly cloudy and windy. Daytime temperatures will be +7…+12°C, and nighttime temperatures will range from 0 to +6°C. Rain is possible over the weekend.  

In Balkan velayat: Overcast skies are expected. Daytime temperatures will range from +9 to +14°C, and nighttime temperatures from –2 to +3°C. Rain and wind are forecasted for the weekend.  

In Mary velayat: The weather will be cloudy but without precipitation. Daytime temperatures will be +7…+12°C, and nighttime temperatures will range from –5 to +4°C.  

In Lebap velayat: Partly cloudy skies with occasional clearings are expected. Daytime temperatures will range from +9 to +14°C, and nighttime temperatures from –1 to +4°C. Short-term rains are possible at the end of the week.  

In Dashoguz velayat: Cloudy weather is expected, with windy conditions on some days. Daytime temperatures will range from –1…+4°C to +3…+8°C, while nighttime temperatures will be between –8…–3°C, with some areas experiencing –4…+1°C.
