This year, in a solemn ceremony to mark the 300th anniversary of the birth of the classic of Turkmen literature Makhtumkuli Fragi and a new cultural and park complex of the capital was opened in his honor in the foothills of Kopetdag.
It is symbolic that this large-scale object, in addition to the majestic monument to Makhtumkuli, includes an alley of famous poets and thinkers from various countries and eras, which underlines its importance in the context of friendship of peoples and the unity of the cultural heritage of mankind.
There are 24 monuments on the territory of the park complex. World-famous writers and poets from around the world. The editors of the Golden Age considered it right, if possible, to acquaint the reader, especially children and youth, with the life and work of outstanding personalities whose monuments adorn Makhtumkuli Alley. This is also important because some of the geniuses of their time represented here have visited Turkmenistan. Dante's first mentor was a famous one at the time poet and scientist Brunetto Latini. Dante got wide knowledge of ancient and medieval literature, natural sciences. Dante's closest friend was the poet Guido Cavalcanti. At first, Dante found shelter with the ruler Verona by Bartolomeo della Scala. Later, he arrived in Bologna, and in 1303-1309 he found himself in Paris.
Dante married Gemma Donati. The exact date of his marriage is unknown. It is known that in 1301 he already had three children. (Pietro, Jacopo and Antonia). In recent years, he lived in Ravenna.;

In the summer of 1321, Dante, as the ambassador of the ruler of Ravenna, went to Venice. On the way back, Dante fell ill and died in Ravenna on the night of September 13-14, 1321. Dante was buried in Ravenna. Dante Alighieri, a thinker and poet, constantly looking for a fundamental basis for everything that happened in himself and around him. It was this thoughtfulness, thirst for common principles, certainty, inner integrity, passion of the soul and boundless imagination that determined the qualities of his poetry, style, imagery and abstraction. As stated in the Latest Philosophical Dictionary, Dante's poetry "played a major role in shaping Renaissance humanism and in the unfolding of the European cultural tradition as a whole.", having had a significant impact not only on the poetic and artistic, but also on the philosophical spheres of culture.
