Delegation of rectors of higher educational institutions of the country led by the Minister of Education of Turkmenistan J. Gurbangeldiev visited the capital's universities.
The meetings were held to familiarize themselves with the work being carried out within the framework of the implementation of the set tasks of creating modern educational institutions and technology centers in priority areas of science and innovation, as well as developing an effective methodology for strengthening scientific, educational and industrial relationships in higher education institutions.
In this regard, a meeting of the delegation with representatives of The Oguz Han Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan was held.
The rector of the university G. Mezilov spoke in detail about the work carried out at the university in the area of establishing interaction between the spheres of education, science and production.
Then the university guests got acquainted in detail with the research activities and preparation of scientific projects in the laboratories of the Institute of General and Applied Biology and the scientific and production departments of the scientific and technological center "Oguzhan", which are part of the university.
The delegation members observed with particular interest the educational process at the “Goşmaça we üznüksiz bilim” (“Additional and Continuous Education”) Training Center, the course of sports training at the Cybersport Center, and the activities at the University’s Intellectual Club.
During the meeting, the importance of the integrated Olympiad “Talented Descendants of Oguz han”, annually held by the university for high school students of the country, as well as the exhibition-competition of innovative projects among young people, organized in honor of Science Day, was emphasized.
At the end of the event, a joint discussion took place on issues of establishing scientific, educational and industrial ties on a regular basis.
A delegation of rectors of leading turkmen universities, headed by the country's Minister of Education, also visited the Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics of Turkmenistan. Here, an exhibition entitled "Education, Science and Industry" was organized for the honored guests, which presented dozens of scientific projects created by members of the institute's Council of Young Scientists.
The exhibition of works by young teachers and students of the institute included projects in the field of software, electronics, robotics, which reflected fresh ideas and creative solutions of the authors, an original creative and scientific approach.
During the meeting, the Minister of Education noted the relevance and importance of close integration of science, education and production, emphasizing that its success is the key to training highly qualified specialists who are able to make a worthy contribution to innovative development and the economic well-being of the country. The Minister emphasized the need to ensure continuous interaction between science and production, and to create the necessary conditions for successful activities in this area.
It was noted that in the context of globalization and rapid technological development, cooperation between scientific, educational and industrial institutions is becoming a necessary condition for sustainable development. Turkmenistan is confidently following the course of implementing these goals.
The country's universities are actively introducing new educational programs focused on modern scientific achievements, which allows them to train specialists who are capable of solving complex problems and skillfully working with advanced technologies. Scientific work provides students with the opportunity not only to obtain extensive knowledge, but also to participate in the practical implementation of projects, which significantly increases their competence and competitiveness in the labor market.
The exhibition at the institute widely demonstrated to guests the achievements of young scientists of the institute in the field of education, science and innovation, and also became an effective platform for discussing issues for the development of the scientific and industrial base, research activities related to the implementation of scientific achievements in production, enrichment of accumulated experience and further priority goals in this area.
